Real Estate Disputes
After law school, Tom had the privilege of serving as term law clerk for the Hon. Kathryn H. Vratil, former Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. After his clerkship, Tom practiced as a commercial litigator in the greater Kansas City area, before relocating to the Tri-Lakes region.

Tom’s practice is devoted to assisting clients in resolving a wide range of business and financial disputes. His representations include financial institutions, business owners, municipalities, real estate developers, contractors, creditors, debtors, employers and individuals in state and federal courts.
Tom is licensed in Missouri and Kansas, and authorized to practice in the United District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, the Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Tom is also a Missouri-approved mediator, certified to mediate all manner of state and federal matters, in addition to pre-litigation disputes and domestic cases.
