Laura is from the Midwest and lived in Kansas, Tennessee, Ohio, and Nebraska before coming to live in Missouri. She spent most of her summers on a softball field or working for her parents’ business.  She graduated from Doane with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and a minor in Political Science.  Laura graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law.  During Laura’s time in law school,  she competed on the law school’s Intellectual Property Moot Court team and was involved with the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Intellectual Property Legal Clinic.  After graduating law school, Laura worked at an insurance defense firm, before joining Schenewerk & Williams in 2020.
